Description:
CRISIS STABILIZATION
Tellurian offers Crisis Assessment, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) facilities for those experiencing a crisis situation. CARE facilities are community-based residential facilities created to provide an alternative to institutional or hospital settings. CARE facilities provide a safe haven for individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis and are in need of support, medication observation, and goal-oriented treatment planning.
Patients receive 24-hour support and supervision, daily individual and group services, and are formally assessed so their unique needs are addressed in accordance with their crisis and response plans. Length of stay depends on individual needs – typically 14 days or less, averaging 3-5 days. Our facilities help return the individual to their home or work environment as soon as the “crisis situation” has been stabilized. Tellurian currently operates two CARE facilities (Crisis Assessment, Recovery and Empowerment). The Tellurian CARE Center is located in Madison, Wisconsin and the Tellurian CARE House is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
