Part of Grant COunty Unified Community Services, the Community Support Program provides intensive treatment, support and rehabilitation for persons who have a serious mental illness. The program's goals include improving psychiatric stability, reducing the need for hospitalizations, reducing the stigmatizing effects of mental illness & promoting independence & community integration. You may be eligible if you have a serious & persistent mental illness that is treatable.
CSP offers: *Crisis stabilization * Overall case management *Individual psychotherapy & medication management. *Assistance w/ substance abuse & general medical needs *Advocacy, linkage & referral *Assistance w/ applying for entitlements & vocational training *Assistance w/ finding affordable housing *Social/recreational opportunities *Support & education for family, friends & community members.
If you fit the eligibility criteria, the program is open to you regardless of your ability to pay.
