Description:
The Alzheimer's Day Respite Program, Happy Day Club, provides adult day care to people with Alzheimer's disease or other related dementia. The Happy Day Club provides participants with supervised group and one-to-one activities to promote socialization through light physical exercise, "old-time" music, games, reminiscing, and outdoor activities. Another benefit of the program is to provide caregivers with relief and respite from the overwhelming tasks of care giving for someone with Alzheimer's.
