The ARCW has been providing care, counseling and prevention services in South Central Wisconsin for over 25 years. The Southern Region has offices in Beloit and Madison. These offices provide health and prevention education.
For families and individuals living with HIV/AIDS, the Life Care Services Team, provide case management services. The program also addresses the medical, emotional, legal and social services needs associated with HIV/AIDS. Clients receiving case management services also benefit from the following; Volunteer services, Transportation, Early intervention, Legal assistance, Mental health and Support Groups, Utility Assistance, Benefits Counseling, Information & Referral, Food pantry for clients, Prevention Services provides free Condoms available to anyone in need and Free Needle exchange; as well as free HIV and Hepatitis C counseling and testing, and Narcan training/Overdose prevention training.
Legal Services provides advocacy and legal information to families and individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. Services are free or at a reduced rate. Types of issued covered are; Estate planning, landlord/tenant, Housing, Debtor/Creditor, Bankruptcy, Consumer, Confidentiality, Health benefits, Public benefits, Immigration, Family law, Civil law, Civil rights, and Employment. They cannot assist with traffic or criminal matters. Due to limited resources, may refer clients to private attorneys. To contact ARCW, Legal Services, call (608) 316-8607.
