Description:
35-apartment RCAC assisted living facility operated by the Wausau Community Development Authority for elderly people in need of a home, and in need of assistance. Residents live in the privacy of their own apartments in a building that connects to the CDA offices and also to neighboring Riverview Towers. Each apartment is equipped with a 24-hr. emergency call button and Life Line.
Personal service staff available 14 hrs./day; a security person is on call 24 hrs./day for emergencies. Personal services include:
*Assistance with daily living
* Bathing and dressing assistance
* Housekeeping
* Laundry Services
* Meal preparation for breakfast & dinner
* Medication reminders and set-up
Personal services are also available by contract with an outside provider.
Other amenities include:
* Dining room with fireplace and television
* Sunroom
* Beauty/barber shop
* Storage lockers
* A guest room
Noon meals are included for residents by the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin Elderly Nutrition Program, lifeline included, utilities included.
Eligibilities: Age 62 or older, and in need of supportive services. Contact CDA for current income limits.
