SWCAP Corporate Guardianship Rep Payee provides both Rep payee and guardianship services. Rep-payee services assist people who have trouble or are unable to manage money as per social security administration. Corporate guardian - court appointed.
A Rep-Payee is an organization appointed by social security to receive social security and/or SSI benefits for people to assist them with their financial obligations.
A corporate guardian is a person appointed by the county court system for people (wards) who by state statutes are declared incompetent and do not have family or friends who are willing, able, or reliable to act on their behalf.
Home visits can be made, not only to home, but also group home, or place of work if the office is too far to travel.
Services offered by SWCAP include: Budget counseling, meet with each client at least quarterly or more if needed, set up a budget for each individual client, insure bills are paid on time, help with arrangement with collection agencies for outstanding bills, as needed, setting up a plan for client spending money, help with food share, energy assistance and rental applications, work with HUD for housing needs, help client save money for burial trusts, working with client's retirement fund or other income sources, if needed.
Rep payee fee is $37 monthly
