Salvation Army Emergency Lodge is a 120-bed facility sheltering men, women and families. It is in operation 24 hours/day, seven days/week. Through various program offerings, comprehensive services are provided to meet the basic human needs of homeless families and individuals in this community.
Emergency Shelter is provided to homeless families and single individuals.
Case management services are provided to assist the residents in moving from homelessness to permanent housing in the community.
Homeless Family Support programs are used to prevent homelessness for families which includes protective payee services, problem solving skill building and advocacy.
Clinic Services, provided to homeless adults and children, includes medical and psychiatric services. The clinic provides free health care including primary care and diagnosis.
Respite Care serves the medically needy homeless. Beds are available to homeless individuals who cannot stay in overnight shelter because of a medical condition. Nursing care coordination and case management services are provided while the person recuperates and stabilizes.
Job Case Management assists individuals with finding and maintaining gainful employment. Assessment and placement plans are used in an effort to break down the barriers homeless individuals experience when seeking employment
Eligibility: Homeless individuals; homeless families with children (boys and girls ages 17 years under and 18 years if in school).
