Weekend Respite program provides temporary relief for parents who are caring for a child or adult with developmental disabilities. Open 50 weekends a year, from 6:00 p.m. Friday night to 6:00 p.m. Sunday night, our respite program offers on site care in a rural setting. Daytime and overnight hours are available.
Personal & Supportive Home Care program provides some relief for parents who are caring for a loved one with development disabilities. Our personal care program allows us to caregivers to work and provide assistance in caring for your loved one in the safety of your own home. Supportive Home care allows for assistance with housekeeping, shopping, community activities and other such services provided by a care worker. These programs allow for participants to continue living at home with their families by receiving these services in their home and community.
Adult Day Care program is to assist adults with developmental disabilities to live a fuller life. Our staff provides personal care needs for our clients while also engaging each in social and recreational activities. By focusing on the Activities of Daily Living skills, social skills, and recreational skills allows us to care for each participants basic necessitites and to help us acheive our mission. In addition, this program will allow clients to interact with each other and build friendships in order to prevent a life of isolation and loneliness.
We have recently begun expansion in our Adult Respite and Adult Day Program to include memory and elder care. This will allow us to reach more members of the community and to provide greater services to those of all ages.
How is care paid for? In Pierce & St. Croix county the following payments are accepted: Community Health Partnership and Community Family Care, IRIS, Medicaid, and private pay.
