Description:
The Emergency Assistance Program helps clients meet basic needs in emergency situations. Material assistance is provided to individuals and families facing emergency expenses due to illness, death, loss of employment, fire, disaster, or other crisis situations. Our services are provided based on an assessment of individual need, income and expenses, eligibility for public assistance, initiative for financial recovery, and the availability of community resources and Salvation Army funds.
In order to be eligible for assistance from this program, a person must be eighteen or older, and provide verification of identification, income and financial need. We strive to provide clients with up-to-date information and referral resources available through various agencies within the community.
