Students who are interested in introductory computer training can learn how to operate a computer and receive optional training in the basics of Windows. If their interest is in word processing, they can learn the basics of using programs such as Microsoft Word. Students can also learn Excel, Access and Power Point. Lessons provide practice by having students perform simulated office assignments. All classes are free. Free on-line tutorials also available focusing access to internet and e-mail basics. Hours correspond to NTC semester calendar.
Eligibilities: No need to work on GED to access these services; anyone who finds the Salvation Army setting convenient is welcome.
