Description:
Waushara County Habitat for Humanity builds homes for Waushara County residents. Houses are sold at no profit to partner families, and no-interest mortgages are issued over a fixed period. Applications are accepted year round. Criteria for applicants: 1.) Presently live in substandard housing; 2.) Have an income between 30% and 50% of the Waushara County median family income, and; 3.) Be willing to invest sweat equity in the construction of their new home in partnership with Waushara County Habitat for Humanity and local volunteers.
