Mobile Meals of Chippewa Falls has been providing a balanced noon meal to residents of the city since 1971. The hot, nutritious meals are available for lunch Monday through Friday not including holidays. They are delivered by volunteer drivers who donate their time and energy to this program. There is a small $5.00 fee that is charged for the meal. For those people that cannot afford the fee, there are some government assistance programs available to help. Check with the Chippewa County Age and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) to determine eligibility or use the Contact Us form to check on other options.
Mobile Meals will continue to serve meals every day during the Covid-19 crisis. Part of our charter is to conduct wellness checks along with providing a hot meal, so we will be checking on the health of our recipients. If you do not want contact with the driver then you can put a cooler outside your door where they will place your meal. It would be helpful if the recipient would place a note that says they are "OK" along with the date. This will fulfill our goal of checking on the health of each customer.
