COPE Services trained volunteers anonymously provide a confidential, supportive listening connection, crisis intervention and a resource for information. COPE understands the difficulties that seniors face. A personal connection and some laughter are essential to everyone's life, even the most self-reliant of us. The telephone visits focus on the senior and his/her well-being.
Volunteer training sessions are offered 3 times a year. They include 20 hours of classroom work and 8-12 hours of online training. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer listener should call the administrative office at (262) 377-1477 to arrange an interview.
