Milwaukee County Department on Aging is the lead Elder Abuse Agency for Milwaukee County. Department staff investigates allegations of Physical Abuse; Financial Exploitation; Neglect; Self-Neglect, Emotional Abuse and Sexual Abuse of adults age 60 and over, residing in Milwaukee County.
An Information and Assistance Specialist is available to take your calls Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. After hours, on weekends and holidays, calls are routed to 211@IMPACT, our 24 answering service, and forwarded to the Aging Resource Center the next business day.
All referrals are kept anonymous. It is highly suggested phone calls related to Elder Abuse be made during business hours to assure accuracy in sharing relevant information for potential investigations.
