Description:
NFCSP is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration on Aging but is distributed through the Aging and Disability Resource Center. A limited amount of funding is available to any person providing care to an adult age 60 and older. The program prioritizes services to low-income families and older adults with dementia, but one does not have to be low-income or have dementia in order to participate. Participants are limited to 112 hours of paid respite per calendar year through NFCSP.
