Description:

For those dealing with a terminal illness. Coping with a terminal illness affects everyone whose life it touches: patients, families and friends.

Hospice helps patients with terminal illness spend their last days with comfort, dignity and quality at home or in a home -like setting with their loved ones. Hospice neither hastens nor postpones death. It affirms life and regards dying as a normal process.

What Is Hospice? Hospice is a life affirming program... caring for people with any terminal illness when the patient, physician and family determine that curative treatment is no longer appropriate.

Hospice helps the patient and family direct the patient's care plan. Hospice seeks to help patients with terminal illness spend their last days with dignity and quality at home or in a home-like setting with their loved ones . Hospice helps loved ones cope with and come to understand that the dying process is a natural part of the cycle. Bereavement counseling is provided to the family after the death of their loved one.

Hospice is available to offer help and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week and although 24 hour a day caregiving is not always available, we are always ready to serve you and we are only a phone call away.
