Description:
The Phonology Project is the research component of the Phonology Project/ Phonology Clinic. This project dates back to the 1970s when we first began to work clinically with children at the Waisman Center preschool who had speech sound disorders of unknown origin. With the aid of local funding and later extramural funding, a research facility was developed to address three questions:
What are the origins of child speech sound disorders?
What are the best ways to assess children with child speech sound disorders?
What are the most effective ways to help children with speech sound disorders?
