Description:
High-quality senior short- and long-term care services for Wausau – including rehabilitation, outpatient and skilled services.
Originally known as Marywood Convalescent Center, Benedictine Living Community of Wausau was established in 1980 by the Diocese of La Crosse to provide health care and residential services to the greater Wausau community. A state-of-the-art rehabilitation unit was added in 2010. In 2012 sponsorship was transferred from the Diocese of La Crosse to Benedictine Health System. Our heritage traces back to St. Michael’s Home which was built in 1878 to house displaced children.
